Currently our small groups are meeting online via Zoom.
Thursday evening vespers include prayers, music, and the spiritual practice of visio divina (prayerful seeing) with works of art. Since 2021 we have read and prayed through the synoptic gospels of Mark, Matthew, and Luke. You can find the readings and the artwork from 2021 on Pastor Nancy's blog, Ruminari. We also share in communion together, using whatever food and drink one may have at home. Vespers in 2024 are the chapters of Practicing Our Faith: a Way of Life for a Searching People, edited by Dorothy Bass. Vespers is on a summer sabbath break until September.
On Tuesday nights our women's group connects on Zoom for a short time of prayer and topical conversation. It's a welcome check-in with other women, with joys and struggles shared with each other.
